Leo Teves

Leo Teves is a designer, photographer, and artist in the Greater New York City area. He has studied architecture and music at Syracuse University, and previously piano and theory at the Monmouth Conservatory of Classical Music under Vladislav Kovalsky.His research interests lie in the duality of northeastern New Jersey’s cultural geography and its dialogue with New York City. His ongoing documentation of the state's urban-suburban fabric addresses societal confusions related to ambiguous identity and autonomy, through the lenses of New Jersey’s music scene and sports culture.Leo's design process intersects psychology and aesthetic theory, using a careful balance of analog and digital methods to find beauty.
