Everybody has problems, every department has problems and that's normal, and it's a great way to practice continuous improvement by identifying problems that are holding you back or that if you solved can contribute to continuous improvement and in this competitive world we always need to be improving. Want you wanna do is identify potential roadblocks to achieving specific goals or improvements. And one way to do that is to brainstorm a list of things that are getting in the way of employees from performing their duties, their tasks and you can do this from a team. I have other videos on doing brainstorming exercises. There are three types of problems. Type 1 problems are those that you have full control and full authority to implement solutions. So, an example of that could be establishing work procedures in a department. Type 2 problems are those that you have no direct control and no authority to implement the solutions..."
