Twitch - Streaming Business Financial model

This short and easy-to-use excel model can be used to keep track /forecast your revenues as a Twitch streamer.

Twitch is an online platform in which you can broadcast content and earn money from your audience. Twitch acts as an intermediary between your audience and you and perceive as such a portion of the overall revenue granted by your audience. This model will help you to assess your revenues and to forecast them based on your history. This model includes bits (Twitch money which can be converted into real money), subscriptions from your audience (three-level system) and other revenue streams affiliated with Twitch. The user will mainly modify the number of subscribers (level 1,2 and 3) and bits to assess current and future revenues. The 100 dollar threshold policy from Twitch is also included to understand if you have reached this month this minimum. This model will be ideally used by small-to-medium streamers with limited knowledge of the model as it is easy-to-use and to modify. Expenses related to this activity and tax considerations are voluntarily excluded from this simple model as it varies from one streamer to another but can be easily built from this model as a starting point. Base on this model, you can also fix in your stream, subscription or bits donations based on your expenses/investment and project.

We believe based on the success of the Z-Event and the recent bubble in the e-sport industry that streaming in Twitch will likely be very important for individuals and businesses in the future.
