This model contains the following elements:

A substitute for the complication of Quickbooks or other personal finance software that purports to "make your life easier", but just adds confusion with too many screens, features, and functions. This model distills Assets, Liabilities, and Income into a calculation of Net Worth that includes the effects of Mortgage, Car, and Student Loans.

The model also contains sections for the user to create a simple monthly Budget, enter their currently-held securities, and keep track of their financial portfolio to calculate equity/fund and overall Rate of Return & Compound Annual Rate of Return.

This template contains clearly-labeled input cells. All other cells are locked for calculation, labeling, or other use. This focuses the user on the Key Assumptions they have control over, and prompts an accurate forecast.
