Sports Game Standings Excel Template

Take control of your game results with this Sports Game Standings Excel Template

Description
This model not only allows you to record scores for table games (e.g. table soccer) and to keep track of the final results for up to six players but also automatically puts players in a playoff scheme. The model assumes several initial rounds where players will receive their playoff positions based on the number of wins and losses, goals scored, etc., and will automatically display playoff standings, both for individual players and pairs. The model can be used for small tournaments between friends and colleagues, and the integrated set of instructions makes it very intuitive and easy to use.

How to fill in the template?

1. Put Player Names in the first column of the table (cells O4:O21). If you have fewer than six players, leave the corresponding cells empty.
2. Check the tickboxes next to the corresponding player names to see available games for these specific players. The list of games will adjust automatically.
3. Fill in the results section in the List of games. The results will be automatically considered in the player standings table.
4. After you play all the possible games, the playoff section will be filled in automatically. Top-two performers immediately proceed to semifinals; others start at quarterfinals.
5. Fill in the playoffs section. The winner of a best of three series advances to the next round in individual games, and there is only one game per round for the teams of two. The winner of the series will be displayed automatically.
