Basic Beverage Shop Excel Model

An small business beverage shop model in Microsoft Excel.

Description
Business plans are great, especially for small businesses and start ups. But business plans can be very static and less dynamic hence asking the what if questions can be almost impossible let alone providing answers to such what if questions. Inputs and assumptions change all the time, as such what happens when a what if question is asked on the basis of a business plan financials while on the negotiation table.

I have built this simple small business model just to give an idea of what a small business model should entail.

Model is structured with simplicity in mind, thus kept on just two sheets with the first sheet containing relevant assumptions and calculations and the second sheet containing financial statement (Income statement, Cashflow statement and Balance sheet), break even analysis and valuation.

The revenue projection is kept less complex, projecting revenue as an input rather than allowing revenue generation to be driven by other factors. Seasonality in income generation is taken into consideration.

The cashflow statement is presented using both the direct and indirect method.
Users can choose the length of period they wish to see what fund have been used for and where such fund are coming from as revealed in the sources and uses statement

At varying period, the value of the firm can be ascertained in case of an exist.

Model is presented on a quarterly basis.
