Fourier Transformation Tool

Excel-based tool for the Fourier analysis of your data.

Description
The "Fast Fourier Transform" (FFT) is an important measurement method in the science of audio and acoustics measurement. It converts a signal into individual spectral components and thereby provides frequency information about the signal. Besides, FFT can be applied to data series in order to identify their cyclical pattern and use it for forecasting purposes.
The Datas’Ok Tool analyzes periodic data by using the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) option of the MS Excel. It extracts the cyclical component from the data and provides the frequency and magnitude of this cycle(s).
Using the file is as easy as 1. copy-and-paste your data and 2. click a couple of buttons. It does not require advance knowledge of Excel, its formulas or Visual Basic editor (macros). It is flexible and can be used unlimited number of times by a single user.
The workbook, its formulas and macros are password-protected in order to avoid unnecessary changes from user’s side, which may cause malfunction of the tool.
Note: the tool uses macros; therefore, you may be asked for enabling them when opening the file for the first time (depends on your local settings). These macros are necessary for correct functioning of the file and are not intended to access your personal data or any other information outside of the file.

The tool comes with some artificial dataset. You should first either delete or overwrite the data in the Signal column with your data.
