WACC Calculator - Excel Model Template

Simple WACC (Weighted Average Cost of Capital) calculator

This simple WACC Calculator is a free excel template for calculating weighted average cost of capital based on the proportions of capital structure, cost of equity, cost of debt and tax rate of a business. WACC is often used in DCF (Discounted Cash Flow) calculations to determine the discount rate, to then calculate the present net value of a business.

The calculator uses the WACC formula to give the business’ cost of capital:
WACC = (E / V) × Re + (D / V) × Rd × (1 − Tc)

The model is designed to be plug-and-play, making it very easy to use and to get results for your business. To use the template, you can input your own data or formulas to auto-populate output numbers. It also contains other elements of a financial model, included within the template in the following tabs (in addition to the WACC tab). These include:
• Assumptions
• Income Statement
• Balance Sheet
• Cash Flow Statement
• PPE Schedule
• Debt Schedule
• LBO Modelling
• FCFE Valuation
