50 Essential shortcuts for financial modeling - Windows version

Description
Description
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is a list of 50 shortcuts in Excel to be more efficient and save time while preparing financial models. Many shortcuts lists already exist which is why we have only selected the more relevant shortcuts we daily use. This shortcut list is for Windows users only.

Each shortcut is associated with the key combination necessary to press and our internal rating based on the utility it provides.
The excel shortcut file is divided into two sections :
- 41 Preexisting shortcuts available in Windows Microsoft Excel; some commands are considered basics, other more advanced based on your proficiency in Excel.
- 9 Custom Made Shortcuts: build with Quick Access Toolbar: those are custom-made shortcuts that we create to have access to other functionalities or to save time from far-reaching functionalities in Excel. They are not available at first unless you create them as explained below.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to create your own custom made shortcuts via Quick Access Toolbar?
- File > Option > Quick Access Toolbar: from here you can add/delete commands based on what you use. Your first command will be executed while pressing Alt + 1, the second one while pressing Alt + 2, the third one while pressing Alt + 3, etc.
