A Guide to Seed Fundraising
Advice, pointers, and do's + don't's for the essentials of seed fundraising.
Aside from the most important thing- growing- startups also have to buy equipment, find premises, and recruit employees. More often than not, this will require external capital.
The first round of capital raised by a startup is referred to as 'seed' capital. This guide intends to summarize what entrepreneurs need to know regarding obtaining the seed funds that will be essential to getting their company up and running.
This is not a full guide to fundraising. This is only intended to include the primary knowledge that entrepreneurs are going to need. The knowledge provided in this guide has been built up through real-life experience investing, advising, and working at startups.
