This course shows us how to create LAMBDA functions to solve financial modeling problems. Once solved, we can package our solutions into reusable functions so we can write our solutions once, and use many times.These functions can look and feel like native Excel functions so anyone of any skill level can use them in any workbook.

These lessons are organized from easy to advanced. The easy lessons show us how to create Financial Ratios like Current Ratio. These are some of the simplest financial modeling formulas but having them named conveys to anyone reviewing our models exactly what our function calculates. And that brings us to an important topic: understandability.

This course shows us how to make our formulas EASIER to read and understand than the traditional formulas they replace. Each function is named conveying intent. Each function parameter is named telling uses exactly what is required. Complex formulas are split into smaller, easier to comprehend steps and each step is named indicating its purpose. These names make our formulas self documenting. And if needed, we can add comments to explain things that may not be obvious. LAMBDA functions are the exact opposite of black boxes.

This course includes a section on how to easily import these pre-built, pre-tested functions directly into any Excel workbook and how to save them to the cloud where we can access them from any computer and share them, if we want, with selected people, or the entire world.
