13 Week Short Term Cash Flow Forecast - Small Business

A simple, beginner-friendly 13-week cash flow planner for small business owners.

Description
A simple 13-week cash flow planning tool built specifically for small business owners, sole traders, and startup founders who need to understand their cash position without dealing with complicated financial models.

Just open the Setup tab, fill in the yellow cells with your numbers — how much cash you have today, what you typically collect from customers each week, and what your regular bills are — and the model does the rest. It instantly generates a 13-week forecast showing your projected bank balance at the end of every week, highlights any weeks where cash drops below your chosen safety net, and tells you in plain English whether your cash is growing or shrinking.

The model handles weekly expenses (wages, suppliers, other costs), monthly bills (rent, utilities, insurance, loan repayments, professional fees) which automatically hit in the right weeks, quarterly tax payments, and one-off lump sums both in and out, with a simple week-number selector for timing.

Every label uses plain language — "Money In" not "Receipts," "Cash at End of Week" not "Closing Balance," "Safety Net" not "Minimum Cash Threshold." A step-by-step Quick Start guide walks you through the entire setup in five steps. The glossary defines every term used in the model in everyday language.

Includes a Track Actuals tab where you can enter what really happened each week and see the difference from your plan (green = better than expected, red = worse), plus an automated Dashboard with traffic-light indicators and two charts showing your cash balance trend and money in versus money out.
