This Excel model is Wall Street Oasis’ free Multiples Analysis template. The template is made for the purpose of allowing you to create your own multiples analysis by comparing data against other companies' financial numbers. The plug-and-play template lets you put in your own data & formulae to auto-populate output numbers. The template also includes tabs for other elements of a financial model.

A transaction multiple is a financial metric used for company valuation in a buyout scenario. It is used as part of comparable company analysis (CCA) to evaluate the value of a business using the ratios of other, similar-sized businesses in the same industry. Multiples analysis, then, is an old valuation technique that determines the different market values of these comparable companies.

There are two main types of valuation multiples:
> Equity Multiples
> Enterprise Value Multiples

In this model, enter your data for price-to-revenue ratio, price-to-book value, price-to-earnings ratio, forward price-to-earnings, forward price-to-revenue etc. to achieve a final intrinsic value of the company you wish to value.
