A Guide to Neuroscience and Change Management

This is a short guide to Neuroscience and how it can impact the practice of Change Management

Description
Neuroscience is the scientific study of the nervous system (the brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nervous system), its functions and disorders. It is a multidisciplinary science that combines physiology, anatomy, molecular biology, developmental biology, cytology, psychology, physics, computer science, chemistry, medicine, statistics, and mathematical modeling to understand the fundamental and emergent properties of neurons, glia and neural circuits. The understanding of the biological basis of learning, memory, behaviour, perception, and consciousness has been described by Eric Kandel as the "epic challenge" of the biological sciences

The scope of neuroscience has broadened over time to include different approaches used to study the nervous system at different scales. The techniques used by neuroscientists have expanded enormously, from molecular and cellular studies of individual neurons to imaging of sensory, motor and cognitive tasks in the brain.

This slide deck is not intended to provide you with the “be all and end all” about Change Management and the Brain which I have created from an amount of research into this complex subject.

Because of this complexity I have tried to keep this information as simple as possible
The information should be used for reference purposes and hopefully the slides will enhance your understanding of this topic but you need to reflect on the information provided and use it to align with your own research and understanding to make best use of the information for your own personal circumstances.

This Best Practice includes
50 .pdf Slides with 39 relevant to the subject
