Mike Lingle has created a method of perfecting your pitch deck and increasing your chances of securing meetings with investors. The tool entails compiling a list of all your desired potential investors, and giving them a rating based on:
1. Desire
2. Likelihood
3. Whether or not there's a conflict

When all investors have been giving a rating, Mike suggests ranking them from least desirable to most desirable. You then get in contact with the least desirable first, working your way down the list. This means that you are able to gather feedback as you go down the list, gradually perfecting your pitch deck. By the time you get to your most desirable investors, you will have made your pitch the best it can be, and you will be able to anticipate their questions and concerns before they have even voiced them. This strategy hugely decreases the risk of messing up with important investors.
