Issue trees are heavily used by consultants especially when you have no prior knowledge of the industry or the area. Issue tree is an interesting concept that helps you go from a suspected problem to potential reason sand analyses that you have to carry out. You list the area, you guess problems, and define analyses that will help you prove right or wrong your guesses.
