The EBAN (European Business Angel Association) Articles of Association is a document specifying regulations, defining purpose, stating how tasks are to be undertaken, outlining how directors will be appointed, and laying out how financial records are to be handled within a company.

Usually, the Articles of Association will state how a company plans to issue shares, audit financial records, and pay it's dividends. It will also cover voting rights. The document could be referred to as a sort of manual, as it sets out how a company will go about their daily tasks.
