Engineering & Industrial Services Due Diligence OHS Checklist

Considers M & A due diligence questions in relation to OHS function in Engineering & Industrial Services Sector

Description
Considers M & A due diligence questions in relation to OHS function in Engineering & Industrial Services Sector - specifically considering various areas of investigation and their potential impact on both corporate valuation in any deal - or in the worst circumstance whether the deal itself should go ahead.

A specific example.  Bidders may be reluctant to acquire a Target company if there are issues around injury rates, drug & alcohol policies or safety standards (incluyding such things as the carrying of Take 5 Cards).  These are highly specific industry issues that will not be covered or discussed in standard Due Diligence checklists.  As such the purpose of this (and other papers) is to enlighten the reader on the specific nature of diligence in the Engineering & Industrial Services Sector.  THis will allow Bidders to benchmark their own approaches to diligenbce investigations against best practice and for companies wishing to sell to be able to prepare themselves in order to maximise shareholder value.

This is one paper in 6 considering specific diligence issues in relation to Engineering, Contracting, Industrial Services and associated Services companies.  THe checklists provide examples of questions which are presented to allow the author to consider both the diligence question itself and the potential impact failure to answer it adequately will have on the deal itself.
