ACC Cement Ltd Complete Fundamental Analysis

Description
ACC Cement currently has 17 manufacturing facilities and 75 ready to mix concrete plants in India. It sells approximately 30 million tonnes of cement in a year and has 10,000+ dealers in the Indian Subcontinent. Increase in the Government expenditure on infrastructure and road development projects are likely to be a major thrust for business growth to ACC.

The company has seen a consistent increase in the volume of cement and RMX (Ready to Mix) cement since 2014. It has a large distributor network across India and has a market presence of about 80+ years in the Indian market. However, the cement business does not have a highly distinguished product or fat profit margins.

The cement manufacturing process is such that the cost of electricity and transport comes to around 35% of the total cost. The company also competes with other major players like Ultratech and Shree cement which more or less produces the same product
