BCG Matrix - Key Account Management Business Development PowerPoint Template Slide

A PowerPoint Template & Excel Model based on BCG Matrix - identify opportunities in a Key Account Manager's Portfolio.

During my time at Renault SAS, I was asked to do an analysis of the Portfolios of all the International Key Account Managers (KAM) of the Car Manufacturer (10 people). The objective was to extrapolate insights from available Market & KAM performance Data, enabling them to optimize their portfolio, by focusing efforts on certain accounts.

To accomplish this, I took inspiration from The Boston Consulting Group's (alias BCG) world famous growth-share matrix.

I built an Excel File for each KAM and for the whole division bu sorting all accounts into the classic 4 categories:

Data needed: Market Growth per Account, Company Market Share & Biggest Competitor's Market Share

Given the success of this model & slide (the IKAM Director & Division Director highly appreciated the insights), I decided to build a "universal" Template for other KAMs, IKAMS (International KAMs), consultants or sales executives to do the same with their company's account performance vs competition, in a given market.
