This presentation is part of a series of 3 frameworks, each focused on 1 of the 3 categories of Digital Transformation challenges. We will cover the second category of challenges; and its 3 composite challenges:

1. Resource Allocation Challenge
This challenge deals with strategically allocating resources to those initiatives of the greatest Digital Value Creation aligned with our strategic objectives (e.g. Business Process Improvement, Product Development, Business Model Innovation).

2. Functional Identity Challenge
Through Digital Transformation, it is very possible that traditional definitions, boundaries, and/or configurations of Corporate Functions will need to change. This is the challenge of Functional identity.

3. People Challenge
It’s always a fight for the best Talent. When it comes to critical Digital Talent (e.g. skills in Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Data & Analytics, etc.), the competition is even more fierce. The People Challenge deals with attracting, selecting, retaining, reskilling/upskilling people to fill our Digital Transformation needs—and in a short time frame.
