Revenue Models for Consumer Retail Companies

Teaching you how to build a revenue model for a retail consumer business.

This video will be going through a revenue model for a consumer retail company using CEC Entertainment, aka, Chuck E. Cheese- a kids restaurant chain in the US. It was acquired by Apollo in a 1.3 million dollar LBO, and we're looking at it because it's an interesting example to learn this concept of how to build a revenue model.

So using a screen-sharing method, this video takes you through an excel sheet, starting with talking about why this type of revenue model is important.

In this case, building a revenue model is a topic that could come up in case studies, in interviews, investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, they could give you something like this in an LBO case study, they could give you a 3 statement modeling case study, they could even ask you normal interview questions about it.
