Comparable Company Analysis (CCAs) Excel Model

6 Tab excel template to perform a comparable company analysis.

This is an Excel model which is made for the purpose of comparable company analysis on the basis of modern theory. In this analysis I have performed two filters i.e. Cross Sectional Analysis and after Time Series Analysis.

1) 1st Tab - Basic

2) 2nd Tab - Management Quality Check- in this tab I have used certain parameters to check the efficiency of the management on the base of S-O-T-P ( Sum-Of-The-Part-Method ). The sum of the parameters are like a shareholding pattern, technology advancement, patents-trademark, corporate Governance etc..

3) 3rd Tab - It is an automated tab which will calculate all the ratios i.e. Price/Earning, Price/Book value, Price/Sales, Price/Operating Cash Flow and Enterprise value/ EBITDA on the basis of information provided on the 4th tab and there after compare a particular company's ratio with the industry average ratio. It will provide a ranking (0,1) of every ratio given by its weight-age in %. After sum product it will provide a final call i.e. Selected or Rejected.

4) 4th Tab - it will be an inputs tab, where you have to put all the inputs mentioned in blue. Black are calculated fields, which are highlighted as yellow.

5) 5th tab - We will carry only those companies which are selected in 3rd tab in this filter. It is Time series Analysis automated tab where it will check return on equity performance on the basis of the past 5 years and on the basis of that it will provide ranking and selection.

6) 6th tab - final tab - It will be a manual input tab that needs to be filled for time series analysis.
