He rightfully explains that as a speaker, it's important to tailor your presentation to suit your audience. There is a risk that what you're saying will not translate and your listeners will switch off, and so by learning more about your audience, you lessen this risk. As a speaker, you should learn to structure your speech so that your audience continues to listen and follow the entire way through.
