Product pricing can be depicted as both an art and science. The quantifiable part, its science, tackles how much its costs to make your products. Craft NI has thus designed a template, with a worked out example, to facilitate the calculation out for you.

The Product Costing Model is an excel template that helps you calculate simply how much it costs to make one each of your products. Input material, production and labour costs into the yellow cells of the worksheet- the template is put together to calculate the rest for you.

Additionally, the spreadsheet can also calculate how much profit, or lack of profit, is made per product.

See the tabs on the bottom left of the spreadsheet, so you can move between the template and the worked out example.
