SEO for Beginners: How to Write Title & Description for the Meta Data

This video shows you how to write your Meta title and description properly so you can rank higher in search engines.

Description
Sasha Evdakov shares how to put together the meta title and meta descriptions for your web pages from an SEO perspective so that you will rank higher in search engines, or better optimize your website at least.

When writing your meta data, your aim is to write your titles and descriptions in a good way, meaning they will have relevant key words that are related to what you are offering on the web page.

This way, when people are reading the titles and descriptions, they're more likely to click on yours, and during search engine scans, the search engines are more likely to rank you higher for those particular search items.

One thing you should note when writing meta data is that the descriptions and titles shouldn't be too long, because if they're too long they'll be cropped by the search engine and the user can't read them, meaning that they're a lot less likely to click on it.

This video will show you exactly how Sasha writes the meta title and descriptions for one of his Wordpress pages. He also demonstrates the plugin he uses to facilitate this process.
