Create Freelancing Proposal with Excel

Writing a freelancing proposal can be frustrating at times, and efforts must be made to ensure that it is a winning proposal.


Pakistan's freelancing guru, Mr. Hisham Sarwar, shares his "7 Rangi Formula" for freelance bidding. This formula follows seven steps that must be completed in order to produce a winning proposal that addresses all key information.


Using his formula and my Microsoft Excel Skills, I created a template that allows you to answer each question individually, save your response in the proposal data, and regenerate the previous proposal at any time.


Once you download the file, please follow the below steps


1. Fill out your opening and closing hooks in the LOV sheet. This will be shown in the dropdown list of opening and closing notes.


2. Fill out all the key information mentioned in the Proposal Creating sheet


3. Once the information is submitted, press the save button to update your proposal database. 


4. You can regenerate any previous proposal anytime by selecting the option General previous proposal and providing the s.no of the record from the database. 


This tired and tested 7-rangi formula will help to get rid of the frustration of writing a bidding proposal and could help you win your next freelance project.
