This seems to be a good tool to identify or for the analysis of INDUSTRY because as per TOP-DOWN approach of analysis it is the second most important factor that is to be considered before making an investment decision in this analysis I have collected historical data of all the sectors that are in working along with "Nifty Index", sectors are as follows..

2.Nifty Bank
3.Nifty Financial Services
4.Nifty IT
5.Nifty Media
6.Nifty Metal
7.Nifty Pharma
8.Nifty Pvt. Bank
9.Nifty Realty

After properly analyzing the data we would be in a situation where we can identify each and every sector's average risk and return on the basis of their utilities - on the basis of past 18 years historical data.

This is very helpful in the case of "portfolio management" after analyzing price we would be having findings of each INDUSTRY "Beta" and their correlations with nifty & others sectors as well.

Their utility which shows that what returns can be expected on each and every unit of risk made. Then, we will be having a third sheet where there is a little shown combination of two sectors portfolio their risk and return as well - Weights which are used can differ according to each investor's appetite for risk.
