In order to understand what is driving Finance we really need to understand what is driving our lives today through the evolution and innovation of technology.

This is more than just the next app craze but fundamentally changing the way businesses operate and new business models are being created far leaner and more innovative than their much larger incumbent competitors.

In order to understand how this is having an impact on Finance we look to define some key concepts and then look at this concepts and how they might apply to the work we do in Accounting and Finance.

The session will cover off concepts that exist today, but many are unaware of.

We are living in the matrix of interconnected machines and most of us dont know that it exists or what its called.

We discuss some of the deeper concepts around analytics and machine learning for predictive and prescriptive analytics.

The session also looks to challenge people's thinking of what the future might contain and how we can best adapt ourselves to fit inside the fast paced, every changing and evolving business world.

There are a few important concepts that every finance professional should be aware of, but information contained in these videos are not found in any textbooks or lecture notes.
