OEE Analysis Template

Description
This template helps you calculate Overall Equipement Effectiveness up to 5 production lines (or machines) with product mix up to 4 products.
The template has 2 charts:
->OEE comparison chart of the 5 production lines (or machines).
->OEE analysis chart of a selected production line (or machine) showing the main losses.The comparison chart provide the OEE of the 5 production lines or machines with the tree composant of an OEE:
-> Availibility
-> Performance (Speed)
-> Quality
The analysis chart provide the main losses wich are:
-> Changeovers loss
-> Unplanned downtime loss
-> Speed loss
-> Quality loss
This template can be used as a dashbord or as a report to discuss the performance of production lines or the production machines.
OEE or the Overall Equipement Effectiveness is a key performance indicator that indicate the global performance of a production system or an element of a production system.
After calcuating the Overall Equipement Effectiveness, the root causes should of the losses should be identified and an action plan should be implemented to fixe the issues and improve the performance.
Root causes can be identified if we follow a structed problem solving methodology such as PDCA, DMAIC, 8D, ...
After implementing the action plan, a follow up must be performed to sustain the improvement and the performance.
