How to Predict Stock Prices Using Machine Learning

Siraj Raval demonstrates how to build a stock prices prediction script in 40 lines of Python.

In this video, Siraj Raval builds a stock prices prediction script and graph to predict Apple's future stock prices. This is done with Python using the scikit-learn library.

Siraj argues that large firms have been hiring analysts for years to build models using past market data with the aim of making predictions, so there is no reason why we can't do the same thing.

Here, Siraj demonstrates how to build 3 predictive models that predict the prices of Apple stock, then plots them all onto a graph to compare results.

The steps are:
1. Install dependencies
2. Collect data set
3. Write script
4. Analyze graph
