HSE KPI Dashboard Template
A simple template for recording number of HSE KPIs such as internal audits, safe system of work etc.
Description
HSE key performance indicators are a set of activities performed to drive and measure the performance of the EHS management system. Key performance indicators can be categorized under lagging and leading indicators, where lagging indicators measure the failures of the management system hence suitable for measuring performance from the rearview mirror while leading indicators are forward-looking indicators used to measure the successes of the management system towards continual improvement.
The HSE KPI Dashboard Template I is pre-built with a set of leading and lagging indicators ranging from internal audits, workplace inspections, environmental inspections, chemical inspections, safety observations, hazard hunts among others, but also offers an opportunity for users to also populate their own key performance indicators.
These are the features of the template:
The approved list is the setup feature that allows users to provide the list of sites or departments they wish to track and monitor. This will populate as a dropdown on the source data sheet in the company or site column of the template.
The Dashboard is a KPI Target Dashboard made up of progress charts and radial charts to produce an exciting feature to report the progress of each KPIs against their set targets and to compare all the KPIs.
The template is an extract from the SHEQXEL HSE Performance Monitoring Tool which has over 40 proactive KPIs. As an extract, there is no effort required inputting data hence very useful for showing quick trends of the 10 assurance KPIs.
The source data is where data input is made. Users can change the KPIs and record their monthly KPI figures and monthly targets to automatically reflect on the dashboard.
A slicer has been used to make the dashboard dynamic. Since slicer only works on Microsoft excel 2010, the template is compatible with Microsoft excel 2010 ( + later version).
