DCF Model Template with IRR

Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models are among the most popular tools used for valuing a business. They produce a forecast of a business’ unlevered free cash flow discounted back to today’s value. This is known as the Net Present Value (NPV). This DCF template is derived from the 3 statement financial model, combining the business’ financials into a single output.

The DCF model is comprised of the following tabs:

1. Assumptions
The assumptions include the income statement and balance sheet summaries.

2. Income Statement
This comprises the revenue, gross profit, expenses and taxes that must be included.

3. Balance Sheet
Here we find the assets and liabilities, as well as the shareholders’ equity, that the company owns.

4. Cash Flow Statement
Cash from operations, investing, and financing are included here.

5. Supporting Schedules
Supporting schedules show material information that is in addition to assets and liabilities on the balance sheet.

6. DCF Model
The DCF Model then brings together these inputs and breaks it down into time periods. Intrinsic value, market value and rate of return are included.

7. Charts and Graphs
The charts and graphs produced here present the information in a more digestible fashion.
