The MTA Daily Ridership Analysis Dashboard is a comprehensive Power BI solution designed to analyze and visualize New York City's Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) daily ridership data. This project aims to provide transit authorities, urban planners, and decision-makers with actionable insights into ridership patterns, station performance, geographic distribution, and temporal trends. By leveraging data modeling, DAX calculations, and interactive visuals, the dashboard delivers a clear, data-driven perspective on public transit usage, supporting efficient resource allocation and strategic improvements to transit services.The MTA Daily Ridership Analysis Dashboard delivers a powerful, data-centric tool to support the MTA’s commitment to providing efficient and reliable public transportation for millions of New Yorkers.
Objective:
The primary goal of this project is to create an intuitive, multi-level dashboard that breaks down complex ridership data into four main analysis categories:

1. Ridership Overview: A high-level summary of total ridership trends, providing insights into overall transit usage, peak times, and YoY growth.
2. Service Type Analysis: An analysis of ridership by service type (subway, bus, etc.), showing the performance of each service type and comparing its usage across boroughs.
3. Geographic Analysis: A spatial breakdown of ridership data across boroughs and stations, highlighting high-traffic areas and identifying borough-specific trends.
4. Station Analysis: A focused view on individual station activity, ranking the busiest stations, and exploring daily and cumulative ridership trends.
