VBA automated Excel Model (Du-pont analysis)

VBA-Based Financial Data Downloader and DuPont Analysis Tool

Description
I’ve developed a VBA-based model that simplifies financial analysis for U.S.-listed companies by automating data retrieval and performing insightful calculations. This tool connects to financial data sources to download key metrics like revenue, net income, assets, equity, and liabilities. The automation eliminates manual errors, saves time, and ensures data accuracy, making it especially useful for analysts and investors.

The highlight of this model is its ability to perform DuPont Analysis based on a time-series concept. DuPont Analysis is a powerful method for breaking down Return on Equity (ROE) into three critical components:
  1. Marketing Department performance- Profit margin
  2. Operation Department performance- Aasset turnover,
  3. Finance Department performance- Financial leverage

By applying this analysis across multiple time periods, the model helps users identify trends and changes in a company’s performance over time. This approach provides a deeper understanding of what drives ROE and reveals whether a company's improvement is due to operational efficiency, better asset utilization, or changes in leverage.

This model is ideal for anyone involved in fundamental analysis. By combining automated data collection with time-series insights, it offers a comprehensive view of a company’s financial health and performance. It equips users with the tools needed to make data-driven investment decisions and assess long-term sustainability effectively.

Maximum Companies per day is 25. Which can be analysed by using this model.
