Daycare Service Operating Model - Up to 10 Year Financial Projections

Create various scenarios for building or acquiring and operating a daycare service facility. Includes 3-statement model, DCF Analysis, IRR, and more.

Description
This is a capacity model, since a daycare facility will have a set maximum number of students that can be enrolled at one time. The user can configure up to 11 care types and the maximum capacity of each. Then, over time the user can adjust the percentage of maximum capacity that is achieved as well as the amount per month to account for seasonality. Each care type has its own monthly fee.

There are also configurations for two more revenue streams which include one-time drop-ins and registration fees.

As far as variable costs go, the user can define the expected cost per month per seat for each of the recurring revenue care types and the cost per drop-in. This will scale such costs as the capacity attainment changes over time.

This financial model has timing assumptions that run purely on monthly and annual periods. For things like the start month / end month of various items, it is just a month #, rather than an actual date. You can assign fiscal dates to each month at the top row of the given financial statements if you want to attach fiscal years / months to each period.

There are full fixed cost schedules, a capital expenditure schedule, options for debt funding, and an exit based on trailing 12-month EBITDA.

Output reports include monthly and annual financial statements (connected Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement) as well as sanity checks for all major reports. I've also included an annual DCF Analysis, IRR, ROI, and equity multiple. There is a section for raising funds and this can be structured as a joint venture or single owner/operator funded. The user can define the amount of funds raised for each and their resulting share in the company.

Plenty of visualizations were also added so the business case can be more easily explained, and the assumptions are easier to digest.
