I've been building Accounting tools for a long time. Often, they involve forecasting future financials (pro formas), but this tool is to report on actuals. You will be able to handle complex things like sales on account, receivables, payables, bad debt expense / allowance for bad debt, issuing stock, taking out loans and repayment, cost of goods sold, inventory, and purchasing / selling capital assets as well as short and long-term stock/security holdings.

There is also logic for income taxes, payables, and defferd tax liabilities (this is if you are trying to report in accordance with GAAP)

The user just makes the entries and all the formulas handle the period ending financials. If I had to estimate, I would say there is enough accounting entry types in here to handle full cycle reporting needs for over 85% of businesses. There will be exceptions and I am always open to code in new logic if it is relevant to a broad audience so let me know if you have suggestions. 

If there are any updates, you get access at no extra charge. This accounting system is best used when you can bulk transaction activity by month or you have larger and fewer transactions.
