With an easy order management, this template makes it easy to enter your rental orders. Simply input the order number, order date, customer name, rate type, rent out and return dates.

Next, enter the specific assets/products being rented and customize the quantity and unit price.

You can check the availability of rental assets in two ways. Use the simple availability checker to view available units of an asset for a time period of up to 90 days before entering the order details. It is also possible to see the available assets using the availability calendar. This will help you to understand the overall availability of all orders entered in the template.

After entering the order details, the invoice sheet can populate the invoice automatically. To create an invoice at any time, simply enter an order number into the invoice sheet. This can be printed or exported to PDF and handle up to 65 line items across 2 pages.

The templates built-in accounting features include:

- Track payments made by customers and calculate due amounts.
- Filter to unpaid invoices.
- Tax rates are handled at order level, and you can choose which products are taxable at product level.

Critically, you can view the top and bottom performing asset categories and assets and filter these down to specific products or assets to see their performance in more detail. In addition, you can view which customers are contributing the most to the business.

Note that the template only supports businesses with one warehouse location, and it does not support bar code scanning.
