Project Impact on Business Growth Template Slide

At Wimi, as Special Projects Director, I was given the responsability to prepare the PowerPoint Deck to defend our candidacy to a large project consortium funding by a major French Bank. One of the objectives of the deck (more than 30 slides), was to show how the realisation of the project (only possible with significant financial back-up), would strongly positively impact the growth perspectives (in turnover) of our firm.

To illustrate this, I created a shematic graph showing two scenarios, in terms of turnover growth in the medium/long run:
- one with the funded project (3 figure growth rate) 😃
- one without the funded project (2 figure growth rate) 🥲

The difference of growth perspectives, was then shown by visualising the number of years gained on the expected Business Plan, between the two scenarios. In the case of the dummy example taken here, more than 5 years.

I then added a complementary comment box on the right, enabling to extrapolate the key insights and possible conclusions.

In the dummy example:
- has the capacity to generate a 5-year gain on ’s Business plan by positioning its products and services commercial potential on a 3-figure growth trajectory.
- By 2028, is thus planning to reach the 100M $ threshold in Turnover, compared to 2033 (without ).
- accelerating the competitiveness of ’s products and services in terms of feature offering, when facing historic international competition, the capacity to win large deals is greatly increased.
- By 2025, a first threshold will be reached at a 50M $ turnover level, the size triggering additional financial capacities for reinvestment.
- A complementary scenario analysis is needed to present the multiple possible outcomes of the project.

Given the pertinence of this framework, and it's success in showing how a given project can be a game-changer for a firm's growth trajectory, I created a universal PowerPoint template for any project manager, analyst or leader to use in such a similar slide deck requirement.
