3. Robotic Process Automation (RPA) - Reinvented processes and customer journeys through automation and agile processes

4. Organization - Agile, flexible, and collaborative processes and capabilities that follow strategy

5. Technology - 2-speed IT to support core functions and rapid development

6. Big Data and Analytics - Usable and relevant customer analytics tied to goals and strategies

Note that every Digital Initiative doesn’t require all 6 building blocks.

Digital Transformation has become crucial to the survival of companies, as the corporate lifespan has been dropping dramatically--from 61 years in 1958 to 18 years in 2011.
