Private Equity - Professional LBO Excel Model

Description
This model template is similar to LBO (Leveraged Buyout) models used by private equity professionals. It is clean, adaptable, and provides plenty of functionality while being simple enough to follow and summarize in a professional and comprehensive output.

The Inputs, Model, and Output are all separate, but the philosophy of this model template is to have as few tabs as possible, and to build it vertically in a logical order, with the most pertinent items up top, such as the Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, and Balance Sheet. This way, the model is useful from a senior perspective, as the viewer can quickly see the most important lines. This style of modeling also useful from an analyst perspective, since the model is very flexible and can easily be broken up and transformed into something else.

The debt schedule is the most important part of any LBO model, and there is functionality to add different types of debt. There is also a detailed exit waterfall, in addition to numerous schedules.
