Description
This Corporate Excel Model of Amazon to demonstrate A-Z Modelling is a great demonstrative tool.

It is an example of a simple corporate model in alphabetical order. In order to complete a corporate model, the most difficult hurdle to overcome is the obtention of the data. Helpfully, the recent changes to data and privacy acts have led to a plethora of legislation aimed at improving transparency. This means that nowadays it is usually possible to find this financial data without too much trouble.

This Excel model uses several financial terms. Growth and ROIC (Return on Invested Capital) are used to produce the cash flows and values from these inputs. This is slightly unorthodox in comparison to a traditional model, but the key drivers are still demonstrated.

The model runs on the premise that the user can:
1. Obtain the data
2. Upload it with the prior history
3. Alter the historic data
4. Changes assumptions from the history
-> This will allow the user to create a new model with new data.

The pictures attached to this tool help to illustrate the steps included in the Excel model. Tables and charts to depict the outputs and trends are very useful for putting the data into a digestible format.
