Employee Scheduling Excel Template (30 minute blocks over 7 days)

Description
This scheduler is going to help any manager that needs to make schedules on a weekly basis. It will improve efficiency and reduce head aches.

The main benefit of the template is with two summaries:

1. The first summary is in the front and it will auto-populate based on the entry of start/end times of your employees each day. It will show the user the amount of people that are scheduled to work per each 30-minute block across 7 days. If there is a gap, the cell will highlight in red.

2. The second summary is going to highlight cells in red if you have scheduled an employee for a time that is outside of their defined availability.

To actually make the template work, you will have a list of each employee and a database of their availability each day. This can hold up to 15 employees right off the bat and that can easily be expanded if needed by dragging down cell formulas.

The actual schedule is made with drop-downs for time slots and it is easily printable. This drives the summaries.

You can pick the hour the work day starts and the start date of the week and this populates throughout.

There is a Google Sheet version of this as well. It is found on the last tab in the template and you can get access to it by simply having a google account, going through the google sheet link and when you get onto the link, just hit File> Make a Copy and you will have your own editable google sheet version of this scheduling template that has all the same functionality and usability.
